Citizen TV reported that the Executive Director of Mwangaza schools in Garissa town was on Monday arraigned before a Garissa court charged with sodomizing a seventeen year old boy.

Hussein Hassan Ali was charged with defiling the minor contrary to section 8(1) as read together with section 8(4) of the sexual offence act No. 3 of 2006.

The accused was also charged with committing an indecent act with a child contrary to section 11(1) of the sexual offences act No. 3 of 2006.

However, those that know the matter claim that the charges are meant for witchhunt and arm-twisting the headteacher due to personal interests of some people in that community.

“This is a lie, they are framing him I know this man he was my headteacher,” Yussuf Hassan wrote.

‘This channel should be reported….you know very well the teacher was innocent….The boY was asked and he said nothing happened to him…his aunt and brother are th one’s accusing the teacher….they wanted to defame him…Garissa people are jealous of the teacher because of his progress….His schooL is the number one in North Eastern,” Said Mohamed Diaz Mo

Hamdiahmed Sacid wrote, “Wanataka waharibu jina lake. Wanasikia wivu”

Others disagreed, claiming the teacher is guilty.

“Huyo kma amepatikana hatia afungwe miaka 30yrs bt isiwe na kisingiziwa tuu kma nikweli afungwe miaka Kenya wacheni upuzi bwana hawa watu watazidi Kenya na hizo bonde zenyu,” Andal Athman.

The case will be mentioned on the 18th November, 2021.
