The High Court has granted former National Assembly deputy speaker Farah Maalim read-only access to information extracted KIEMS kits after the August 8 vote.
This concerns the petition challenging the election of Garissa Town MP Aden Duale who is majority leader.
Justice Edwig Ong’udi further directed on Friday that the parties agree on where to store election materials pending the hearing and determination of the case.
Maalim claims the election was shambolic and wants Duale’s victory cancelled.
The former deputy speaker said his rival was not validly elected and made claims of massive irregularities.
Maalim (NASA) wants court to direct that the respondents in the case and several others jointly committed election irregularities.
