Man, 21, Sentenced To Life Imprisonment For Defiling Step-Daughter

A 21-year-old man has been sentenced to life imprisonment after he was found guilty of defiling his six-year-old step-daughter.

The accused was charged that on December 16, 2020, he sexually assaulted the minor at Bluemax village in Salgaa trading centre in Nakuru County

The accused was sentenced at the Molo Law Courts by Resident Magistrate Emmanuel Soita.

The court directed that the man be locked up at the Nakuru GK Prison.

He was given 14 days to appeal the ruling.


Two security guards and two students were Tuesday arraigned at the Makindu Law Courts over the torching of a dormitory at Makindu Boys High School.

The four were presented before Makindu Resident Magistrate Benson Ireri where they were charged with destroying property worth Ksh.1.8 million in the Monday morning incident.

They denied the charges and were released on a bond of Ksh.300,000.

The case will be mentioned on December 16.
