Suspect Charged With Demanding Sh 300 Million From Safaricom Released On Sh 1 Million Cash Bail

A man has been charged with demanding millions of money with menace from Safaricom limited.

Benedict Kabugi Ndung’u is accused of demanding Sh 300 hundred million from the Safaricom limited company with intent to steal.

The accused is alleged to have committed the offence between 1st May and 7th June 2019 at an unknown place within Nairobi, jointly with others already before court.

He denied the charges before Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi.The magistrate ruled that he be released on Ksh.1 million bond or an alternative cash bail of 1 Million.
